10 ml Bergamot (FCF) Essential Oil
Latin Name: Citrus Bergamia | Part Used: Fruit Peel | Origin: Italy | Extraction: Cold Expression
Bright, citrusy, and quietly uplifting — Bergamot is the oil that lifts the mood without overwhelming the senses. Cold-expressed from the peel of the bergamot orange, grown in the sun-drenched groves of Lombardy since the 16th century, this Italian classic is as at home in a luxury perfume as it is in your morning diffuser blend.
You’ll already know its signature scent from Earl Grey tea. In essential oil form, it brings that same warm, citrus-floral brightness to your wellness routine — with a depth that pure citrus oils rarely achieve.
How to Use
- Diffuse: Add 3–4 drops to your diffuser to ease stress, anxiety, low mood, and seasonal low energy (SAD).
- Massage: Blend with a carrier oil and apply to support circulation, ease tension, and uplift the senses.
- Bath: Add a few drops to warm bath water for a calming, mood-boosting soak.
- Skin care: Dilute and apply to support healing of eczema, psoriasis, cold sores, and minor wounds.
- Blending: A beautiful top note — pairs well with lavender, rosemary, and geranium.
Cautions
For external use only. Always dilute before topical application. This is an FCF (furanocoumarin-free) expression, reducing photosensitivity risk — however, as with all citrus oils, avoid prolonged sun exposure on treated skin. Keep out of reach of children. Consult your physician if pregnant, nursing, or under medical care. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas.
